Join Master Distiller Crispin Cain of Mendocino Spirits for an evening of rare pours bottled for Noyo Harbor Inn: a 12-year Low Gap rye malt, a 6-year Low Gap bourbon, a 10-year barrel-aged gin, and our 9-year signature rye, each paired with a course from the wild mushroom menu by Chef Jason and forager Jenna Hinshaw.

Whiskey Flights
Our whiskey flights are curated to help guests explore by theme, region, or style. Each set offers a guided tasting of four selections, with notes that balance education and approachability. From rare Scotch to local rye, the flights are a welcoming entry point for both newcomers and aficionados.
Cigar Lounge
Our cigar lounge is tucked into a cozy gazebo overlooking the harbor, complete with a firepit. It’s the perfect place to unwind with a pour and a cigar: private, relaxed, and conveniently near the bar and your room. A quiet corner for conversation, contemplation, or a little indulgence.
Four Whiskies, Bottled for Noyo Harbor Inn
We take whiskey seriously, and we are lucky to have one of California’s craft distilling legends in our own backyard. Master Distiller Crispin Cain trained under Hubert Germain-Robin in 1989 and still works on flame-fired pot stills outside Ukiah. Four of his bottlings carry the Noyo Harbor Inn name:
- Low Gap Bourbon, 6 Year Old: the oldest bourbon Mendocino Spirits has ever released, at about 90 proof. Golden caramel, toasted nuts, and marzipan.
- Low Gap 12 Year Old Rye Malt: Crispin’s grandfather’s century-old recipe, 93% rye malt and 7% wheat malt, aged in small Minnesota casks. Dense, oaky, and complex.
- Aged Gin, 10 Year Old: barreled in 2016 in Limousin oak from Cognac. A decade in the cask softens juniper, citrus, cardamom, and spice into something rare. Exclusive to Noyo Harbor Inn.
- Our Signature Rye, 9 Year Old: 100% malted rye aged in new American oak, then Cognac barrels, and finished in a Buena Vista Cabernet barrel. Just 30 numbered bottles.
All four are poured at HarborView Bistro & Bar and available for purchase in our gift shop, a perfect gift for the whiskey lover in your life.
